LUNA AND THE LIE BY MARIANA ZAPATA
LUNA AND THE LIE
BY: MARIANA ZAPATA
5 STARS
BLURB: Luna Allen works at an auto shop as a painter and is the only woman there. Her boss, Mr. Cooper, is a father figure to her. Her other boss, Rip, is a gruff man who is not the easiest to be around. He has a short temper and is known to argue with Mr. Cooper behind closed doors. Luna has a small crush on Rip that results in playful banter and her trying to get under his shell.
It's hard to review this without giving anything away. There is so much backstory that comes forth throughout the book. I can always count on Mariana Zapata when I'm in the mood for a good, slow burn.
Highly recommend this book. Don't let its length discourage you, once I started it was very hard to put down.
